1. Manufacturer’s Warranty:
  • Most of the devices come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty usually covers hardware defects or issues arising from manufacturing errors. Manufacturer’s warranty period may vary according to brands and product models.
  • The buyer must verify the device’s active/inactive status and visible issues (scratches, defects, color, box accessories) unboxing the package. No complaints related to these will be accepted afterward. It is advised to record the unboxing process on video for reference.
  • Some software and hardware issues have been reported in devices from various companies, affecting users worldwide. These issues can only be resolved by the manufacturing companies. Fortune Gadget will not be responsible for such issues.
  • Coverage: This typically includes repairs or replacement for:
    • Defective hardware (e.g., motherboard, camera, charging port, etc.).
    • Battery issues (if it is a manufacturing defect).
    • Screen issues (if caused by a defect in manufacturing, not physical damage).
  • Exclusions: Damage caused by accidental drops, water damage, electrical damage or unauthorized repairs is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
2. Return and Exchange Policy:
  • Sold products are non-refundable. If there are no visible issues with the purchased product or if the customer simply does not like it, the product can be exchanged according to Fortune Gadget Exchange Policy. A minimum of 10% and a maximum of 25% will be deducted from the product’s value based on its condition. The purchased product cannot be exchanged for a different product under any circumstances.
  • If a product purchased via courier shows any defects, the customer must not use the product and must inform customer support about the issue on the same day of receiving the product or within 24 hours. Contact: (+8801776-343580).
  • Timeframe: Return or exchange typically ranging from 3-5 working days from the date of delivery.
  • Conditions: To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must usually be unused, in original packaging, and free from physical damage.
  • Faulty Devices: If the device is DOA (Dead on Arrival) or has an obvious defect upon unboxing, the customer can often return it within the initial period for a replacement.

3. Warranty Coverage for Specific Issues:
  • Software Issues: Issues related to the third party installed apps (such as crashes or freezing) may not be covered under warranty, but the customer may be asked to follow troubleshooting steps like factory resets or software updates first. In case of official product’s Operating System related issues, warranty will be provided as per the manufacturer/product distributor warranty policy.
  • Hardware Failures: Manufacturer warranties typically cover failures in hardware components like the  sensors, internal parts, etc., but physical damage (e.g., cracked screen, water damage) is not covered.
4. Repair and Replacement:
  • Same products may have different software restrictions or hardware changes based on different Sales Regions, and due to variations in the production batch, the new product may have slight differences compared to the previously used one, such as: fittings, display color, headphone sound quality, packaging, etc. These issues will not be covered by warranty replacements.
  • Warranty-covered products will be fixed within a specific period. If a product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced only in that case.
  • Replacement warranty is valid for only one time. In such cases, the product (including scratches, defects, color, accessories, and box) must be in perfect condition.
  • Repair: If a product is found to be defective and under warranty, we might repair the device at no extra cost or send it to an authorized service center.
  • Replacement: If the product cannot be repaired, a replacement unit may be sent to the customer, sometimes under certain conditions (e.g., product is still in warranty and the issue is covered).
5. Exclusions:
    • Physical Damage: Accidental damage like cracked screens, broken components, or water damage is typically not covered under the warranty.
    • Fortune Gadget will not be liable for display, hardware, battery, or overheating issues caused by operating system updates.
    • Battery wear: Batteries naturally degrade over time with regular use. However, battery defects caused by the manufacturer may still be covered under warranty.
    • External Factors: Warranty policies usually do not cover issues caused by misuse, modifications, or unauthorized repairs.
    • Misuse or Negligence: If the damage occurs due to improper handling, or if a device is tampered with by unauthorized third parties, the warranty will likely be void.
    • Blacklisted: If the device has been blacklisted by the user or the manufacturer company the warranty will be void.
6. Claim Process:
  • For certain brands, customers will need to visit the brand’s official service center according to their warranty policy to claim warranty services. If a warranty claim for these products is made through Fortune Gadget, customers should expect longer processing times.
  • Claim Procedure: To claim a warranty, the customer may need to provide proof of purchase (receipt), the serial number of the product and warranty sticker from the box to our customer care in person. 
  • Shipping Costs: Customers have to pay the shipping charge in case of return shipping.
7. Refunds for Non-Repairable Items:
  • Any refund will be processed within 3 (three) business days. Note that the refund method (cash/bank transfer/mobile banking) will be determined by Fortune Gadget.
  • If a product cannot be repaired or replaced under warranty, we may offer a refund for the item within a certain period.

8. International Warranty:
  • Some brands and products (like Apple) offer international warranty coverage, meaning if the product is purchased in one country, it can still be repaired or replaced in another country, provided the warranty is valid in that region. 
  • For products covered by international warranties, the customer is responsible for claiming the warranty directly with the manufacturer or authorized service centers. Fortune Gadget is not obligated to process or assist with any international warranty claims. Customers are advised to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and procedures for warranty claims in their respective countries.
